Yesterday I caught this Euronews interview with the one and only Sir Martin Sorrell. When posed with the What’s next? question about media and marketing, he provides a succinct response about “where the action is” moving forward.
According to Sorrell the future growth engine of global marketing will involve a combination of first party data, digital content and programmatic buying. Coincidentally, these three ingredients are the same core pillars of his next gen digital marketing firm called S4 – so he’s doing a little side hustling for his own firm in this segment. Regardless, it’s always interesting to hear Sir Martin’s rapid-fire delivery on complex topics like this.
I also think anyone who can seamlessly work the term “comme ci comme ca” into a live interview is definitely worth the watch. Enjoy!
